Our Team
Cricket to me has always been my number one sport from age 8. My junior club St Jeromes (Punchbowl) was where I started playing in the under 10 competition. Progressed through to under 16 and onto Green Shield at Bankstown-Canterbury.
Being part of a team helps us in all walks of life. Community cricket is the lifeblood of the game in Australia. We must protect this for our game to continue.

I have always played and enjoyed many different sports, but cricket has always been my true love. Having played my first game over 45 years ago and still playing now, I am passionate about everything the game brings to the community. As a father of 3 boys who are all still playing, I can see first-hand the joy cricket is bringing to their lives through amazing on field experiences and off field friendships.
I want community cricket to stay strong so as many kids as possible can get hooked like I did and play well into their adult years.

Ever since I could hold a cricket bat, I have never lost the passion for the game. I remember my days in backyard cricket, my school days playing and learning the game.
The opportunity to play in local community cricket helped to develop my all-round skills at the grassroots level. This is where the clubs and associations need support to develop the players today to be the future players of tomorrow. I believe that Kangarucci Cricket will provide support to assist clubs/associations with the highest quality products at very affordable prices.

Being the third generation in the cricket ball manufacturing business, it would not be wrong to say that the game of cricket runs in my blood. I remember the time when my grandmother and my mother would be involved directly in sourcing hides for cricket balls production. We would watch on as children the steer hides being dried on our roof top. As children we had many summer holidays spent on visits to the factory, watching the process as closely as we could.
What was started as a small-scale cottage industry back in the 70's by my grandfather has now developed into a specialised manufacturing unit of handcrafted and machine stitched cricket balls that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques.
As a cricket enthusiast, I firmly believe that nurturing talent at the community level is crucial for the growth and future of the sport. Our way of contributing to the game is by manufacturing the highest quality Kangarucci Cricket balls that we are proud to create and share in our cricket community.
